Refund & Withdrawal Policy
Applies to: purchases of Rewired made through our checkout platform, Hotmart.
1. Definitions
- “We” / “us” — the seller of Rewired: Benjamin Tayar Matijasevich, an individual seller based in Argentina, publishing under the pen name James Brown. Contact: support@rewire.ink.
- “Ebook” — Rewired: The Science of Breaking the Porn Cycle, a 152-page digital book (PDF + EPUB, no DRM), USD $25.
- “Program” — the 84-day Rewired web program. The Bundle includes 90 days of Program access from the date of purchase.
- “Bundle” — the Ebook plus Program access, USD $79 one-time.
- “Extension” — an optional USD $15 purchase that adds 31 days of Program access. Each Extension is a separate purchase you choose to make. Nothing renews automatically.
2. Our refund promise: 7 days, no questions
If Rewired isn't for you, email support@rewire.ink within 7 days of purchase and we will refund you in full — the Ebook, the Bundle, or an Extension. No questions, no hoops, no “have you tried…” conversation. This is the same 7-day money-back guarantee shown on our site and supported by our checkout platform, Hotmart.
We ask only one thing: tell us the email address you used at checkout and (if you have it) your order number, so we can find your purchase.
This promise applies worldwide. It is a voluntary policy and sits on top of any rights the law already gives you (see Section 4) — it never replaces or reduces them. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory 14-day withdrawal right (Section 4) continues to apply even after our 7-day promise ends.
3. How to request a refund
- Email support@rewire.ink with the subject “Refund” (any wording works).
- Include the email address used at checkout and your order number if you have it.
- We reply within 48 hours and process approved refunds promptly. Refunds are issued through Hotmart back to your original payment method; your bank may take a few business days to show it.
You can also request a refund directly through Hotmart (the purchase-confirmation email includes their self-service link) during their guarantee window — either route works, and both end in the same place: your money back.
When a Bundle is refunded, Program access ends and download links are deactivated. Anything you saved in the Program (journal entries, check-ins) lives only on your own device — we never had it, so we can't delete it and you don't lose it.
4. EU and UK customers: your statutory withdrawal right
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. Here is honestly how that works with digital products:
a) The Ebook (digital content). Before you complete your purchase, you are asked to tick a box expressly requesting immediate delivery and acknowledging that, once the download begins, you lose your 14-day withdrawal right for the Ebook (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; regulation 37 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). Your order confirmation email restates this consent, as the law requires.
- If you tick the box: you get the download links right away, and the statutory withdrawal right for the Ebook ends when delivery begins.
- If you do not tick the box (or the box was never shown to you): we do not deliver the Ebook until the 14-day withdrawal period ends, or you keep your full withdrawal right — including a full refund — even if the content was delivered.
b) The Program (a service). The Program is ongoing access, not a download, so different rules apply. If you buy the Bundle and ask for immediate access, you can still cancel within 14 days and receive a proportional refund for the unused part of your access period. Example: cancel on day 7 of 90 → you are refunded for the remaining ~92% of the Program portion of the price.
c) How our 7-day promise and your 14-day statutory right fit together. Within 7 days of purchase, our voluntary promise (Section 2) refunds you in full, no questions — that is simpler and, in the first week, more generous than the proportional statutory calculation. Between day 8 and day 14, your statutory withdrawal right still applies: for the Program you can withdraw for a proportional refund of the unused period, and for the Ebook the right remains unless you waived it by requesting immediate delivery (paragraph a). Either way, just email us and we will sort it out.
d) Extensions. Each $15 Extension is a new 31-day service contract, so the same rules apply to each one: a statutory 14-day withdrawal right with a proportional refund if you requested immediate access, and our voluntary 7-day full-refund promise on top for the first week.
To exercise your statutory withdrawal right, email support@rewire.ink with a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract. No specific form is required.
5. Delivery and access problems: always on us
Separately from any refund window:
- If your download links don't arrive, don't work, or the files are corrupted, we fix it or refund you. Always. No time limit for problems we caused.
- If your Program access was not provisioned, your login (magic link) doesn't work, or the Program is unavailable for a significant period during your paid access, we fix it, extend your access, or refund you — your choice where feasible.
Write to support@rewire.ink. Delivery failures are our responsibility, full stop.
6. A note on chargebacks
If something went wrong, please contact us before disputing the charge with your bank. We answer within 48 hours and our refund policy is deliberately easy — in almost every case, emailing us is faster than a bank dispute, which typically takes weeks. Bank disputes also cost everyone (you included) time and paperwork that a two-line email avoids.
Nothing in this section limits your right to dispute a charge; it's just the slower road.
